The power selection of the generator set should be based on the actual operating conditions. The power selection of diesel generator sets has a very important impact on the investment and guarantee of power supply of data centers. Different users can select the suitable power of the generator set according to different needs, which provides greater flexibility.
As an important standard applied in the diesel generator set industry, ISO8258-1 and GB/T2820-1 define four power types of diesel generator sets. Because the power definition given is based on four different operating conditions, the operating conditions are not exactly the same as the data center load conditions. The owner needs to make a choice in accordance with the characteristics of the data center.
