Error one, no water to start or suddenly add boiling water to start

The second mistake is pressing the throttle to start.
Do not press the throttle when starting the generator. The correct method is to set the throttle to idle. However, many people force the throttle before starting or during the starting process to be able to quickly start the generator set. The harmful effects of this practice: 1, waste of fuel, excess diesel fuel will wash the cylinder walls, so that the piston, piston ring and cylinder liner lubrication between deterioration and increased wear; 2, residual oil in the oil pan will dilute the oil and weaken the lubrication; 3, the excess diesel fuel in the cylinder may not all be burned to form carbon deposits; 4, diesel engine starting, the speed can be very high quickly, moving parts to cause more damage (aggravated) wear or cause cylinder pull-out and other malfunctions).
Error three, forced cold start
diesel generator sets in a cold state, the oil viscosity is higher in the case of forced starting, will increase wear between the moving parts of the diesel engine, and will not help extend the service life of the diesel engine.
Error four, intake pipe at startup
If the diesel generator intake pipe when the ignition is started, will make the combustion material ash and solid debris is sucked into the cylinder, it is easy to cause the intake and exhaust valve to close not strictly and pull the cylinder.
Error five, long-term use of electrical plugs or flame heaters
Electric plugs or flame heaters are an electric filament, its power consumption and heat are very large, long-term use may cause a short period of time with a large number of discharges and damage to the battery, at the same time, there is a possibility of the electric filament burning out. You can also burn the electric heating wire. Suggestions from Youkhor: The electric heating plug should not be used continuously for more than 1 minute each time, and the flame heater should be used continuously for less than 30 seconds each time.
Error six: directly adding oil to the cylinder
will add oil to the cylinder, although it can play a role in sealing pressure and raising temperature to facilitate cold starting of the generator set, but the oil cannot be all burned, easy to produce carbon deposits, piston ring elasticity is reduced, cylinder sealing performance is reduced. The wear of the cylinder liner will also accelerate, which will reduce the power of the generator set.
Error seventh, directly into the gasoline inlet pipeline
Gasoline has a lower flash point than diesel and combustion occurs faster than diesel. Directly into the gasoline inlet pipe, so that the diesel generator operates roughly and produces a strong knocking phenomenon, in serious cases, diesel engine reverse may also occur.
